Please Save Jerry / Loveable Border Collie Needs You

Jerry is a two-year-old border collie.  He was found by Noa when she was out walking her own dog.  He has been badly abused, was wounded, his ears clipped and teeth pulled out -- and is very frightened by fast, sharp movements. His fright, and the fact that he wails everytime he experiences a sharp movement, indicates the cruelty he has experienced during his short life.

Noa took him immediately to the SPCA, and he is now living in a shelter in the north, and is undergoing rehabilitation and treatment.  

He is gentle, noble, disciplined and faithful.  His fear is not expressed through any sort of aggression, only through crying and shying away.  He needs a home where he will be the one and only prince, without other 4-legged animals and preferably without small children, who often make sharp movements.  He needs a family that will be patient with him through his continued treatment, and that will help him recover his confidence.
