Please Help us Find Our Beloved Gameboy / Haifa SPCA
Gameboy, one of the most loved and special dogs at Tzar leBaalei Haim, Haifam was cruelly kidnapped from us. (Hebrew Below)
We know for a fact that the thieves, a man in his thirties and a youth, came to the association at the end of last week at a time when no one was there. They took apart the fence, apparently lifted it up and stole Gameboy literally from under our noses. He tried to resist and barked at them, but to no avail and these scum succeeded in kidnapping him in broad daylight, and took him from there with a leash. When we came back to the association the next day and saw what had happened, we were simply heartbroken. The crate was empty, his toys were scattered everywhere and only Gameboy was missing.
The police is already investigating this, but unfortunately without success so far. We have no idea what happened or even if he is still alive, and therefore we seek the public's help.
Gameboy is a tall, thin mixed Labrador with light colouring and a short tail. He has a unique character trait which is that he loves to play with everything. He had many toys at the Association but without doubt, his favourite was his stone. It was just a simple rock which he found on one of his walks and simply fell in love with. He always spent the day playing with this stone, rolling it around, throwing it and just holding it in his mouth which he really enjoyed. It is very distressing for us that he is now in a strange and alien place without his beloved toy.
Gameboy is aggressive toward other male dogs and is also suspicious of new people but as soon as he softens, he becomes a real charmer. We have good reason to believe that he was taken to be a guard-dog, probably in the Karayot or Haifa areas.
Gameboy is one of our most beloved dogs, all of the volunteers took him for walks and he would just wait for people that he knew to come and stroke him. He is an amazing dog with a painful past and it breaks our heart to think that he might spend the rest of his life tied to a metre-long leash in some foresaken place with no human contact or loving pats.

גיימבוי, אחד מהכלבים הכי אהובים ומיוחדים שהיו בצער בעלי חיים חיפה, נחטף מאיתנו באכזריות.ידוע לנו בוודאות כי הגנבים, אדם בשנות ה-30 לחייו ואיתו נער נוסף הגיעו בסוף השבוע שעבר אל האגודה בשעה שלא היה שם אף אחד. הם פרקו את הגדר מחלקיה, ככל הנראה הרימו אותה וגנבו לנו את גיים ממש מתחת לאף. הוא ניסה להתנגד ונבח עלייהם, אבל זה לא הועיל והחלאות בכל זאת הצליחו לחטוף אותו לאור יום, והובילו אותו משם עם שרשרת.
כאשר חזרנו יום למחרת לאגודה וראינו מה קרה פשוט נקרע לנו הלב, המלונה שלו הייתה ריקה, כל הצעצועים היו מפוזרים מסביב ורק גיים היה חסר.
המשטרה כבר חוקרת את הנושא אבל למרבה הצער ביינתים ללא הועיל, אין לנו מושג לגבי מה שקרה לו או אפילו אם הוא בחיים, ועל כן אנחנו פונים לעזרת הציבור.
גיימבוי הוא כלב לברדור מעורב גבוה, בעל מבנה גוף רזה. צבעו בהיר וזנבו קצר.
יש לו תכונה מאוד אופיינית והיא שהוא נורא אוהב לשחק עם כל דבר, היו לו הרבה צעצועים באגודה, שהכי אהובה עליו הייתה ללא ספק האבן שלו. סתם סלע פשוט שהוא מצא באחד הטיולים ומאז פשוט התאהב בו. הוא תמיד בילה את כל היום במישחק עם האבן, גילגל אותה, השליך אותה וסתם החזיק אותה בפה וממש נהנה מזה. עצוב לנו לחשוב שהוא עכשיו נמצא במקום זר ומנוכר בלי הצעצוע האהוב עליו.
גיימבוי תוקפני לזכרים אחרים וגם חשדן לאנשים חדשים אבל כאשר הוא מתרכך הוא פשוט הופך למקסים אמיתי, יש לנו סיבות טובות להעריך שלקחו אותו לשמירה, כנראה באזור הקריות או חיפה.
גיימבוי היה אחד ה כלבים הכי אהובים שלנו, כל המתנדבים היו מטיילים איתו והוא היה רק מחכה שהאנשים שהוא מכיר יבואו לתת לו ליטוף. הוא כלב מדהים עם הסטוריה לא קלה וכואב לנו הלב לחשוב שיבלה את שארית חייו קשור בשרשרת של מטר באיזה חור בלי טיפה יחס אנושי או ליטוף אוהב. אנחנו מתחננים בפנייכם, אם יש לכם כל מיידע שיכול להוביל למקום המצאו אנא פנו אליינו לצב``ח חיפה לטלפון- 04-8729696, ועזרו לו לחזור הבייתה.
