Give Blackie the Loving Home He Deserves

Blackie was rescued from a group of Arabs in Kalkilya and was in shocking condition. It's suspected that this gentle boy was forced to engage in dog fights, counter to his sunny disposition. He is now a little fearful of other dogs but his sweet spirit hasn't been broken by the violent past that was imposed on him. 

One of his legs was so broken and beyond repair that it had to be amputated.

Fortunately, he can still walk, run and play.

He's approximately 2-1/2 years old, neutered, a mixed black lab with white socks, short haired. (see photos)

As you can see, this gentle giant is great with kids.

If you've been watching the English language TV show on channel 1 (Hebrew subtitles) Sun.-Tues. night at 8 PM, you'll know that with one to two lessons with a good dog trainer, you'll be able to teach Blackie to walk proud next to other dogs without fear.
